This policy explains what personal information Edinburgh Distribution Logistics collects when you use our website or book a distribution campaign with us, why we collect it, and your rights over it.
We handle your personal information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Edinburgh Distribution Logistics is a leaflet, flyer and poster distribution business based in Leith, Edinburgh. We are the "controller" of the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at edinburghdistributionlogistics@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your contact details: name, email address, and phone number and business name if you give them.
- Your campaign details: the service you choose, quantities, postcodes or locations, dates, and any notes you send us.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone or social media.
- Invoices and payments: records of what you've booked and paid for.
Our GPS route reports record where our own team walked during your campaign. They don't contain information about the people living at the addresses we deliver to.
Why we use it

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We only share what's needed with services that help us run the business:
- Formspree, which delivers your booking request to our inbox.
- Google (Gmail), where we receive and store emails.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the fonts on this website and receives your IP address when the page loads.
- Our website hosting provider, which runs this website.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards such as the UK–US data bridge or approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
- Booking and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax purposes.
Cookies
This website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong;
- ask us to delete your information (unless we have to keep it by law);
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
